The Yellow River Piano Concerto/Butterfly Lovers Concerto
The Surging "The Yellow River Piano Concerto" and the poignant "Butterfly Lovers Concerto" touch the souls of music lovers. These two concertos were performed by three local musicians, Mr. Choi Sown Le, Mr. Ray Wang and Mr. Goh Ching, with The Hong Kong Symphonia on 3 March 2014 in one concert. Mr. Choi was awarded “Instrumentalist of the Year” by the Hong Kong Artists Guild, and he was the First Prize winner of the Pinault International Piano competition in New York City. Mr. Wang is a composer and erhu performer. Besides, there was Mr. Goh Ching who is the principal conductor of the Strings Chamber of HK Metropolitan Youth Orchestra.
Centaline Club, as the sponsor of the aforesaid concert, reserved complimentary seats for her Gold members. The founder of Centaline Club, Mr. Addy Wong and the Vice Chairpersons, Mr. Clement Choi and Ms. Kennie Kwok attended the concert and had a little chat with musicians. It was a great show!
