Innovative! The Special session for Centaline Property of Xiqu musical “Legend of the Firebird” Was Successfully On Stage
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Centaline Property sponsored an innovational xiqu musical: “Legend of the Firebird”, starring the famous Cantonese Opera actress Ms. Wai Chun-fai, has been organized by the “Youth Connect Foundation” and achieved a great success in Xiqu Centre. The show brought a brand new experience to the audience with 3D projection technologies and lyrics reworded of classic songs. Audience greatly enjoyed the show as we could hear they sang together at the seats!
Centaline Property is being passionate on promoting Chinese traditional culture for the years. Before the stage performance, Mr. Addy Wong, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer - Asia Pacific, shared, ‘The story was about the main characters overcame the difficulties to save the world and promoted the message of love and peace, which carried the vision of Hong Kong’s prosperity and sustainable development.’ He also mentioned, ‘HKSAR Government has newly set up “Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau” to promote the cultural business development. Centaline also has staunch support to inheritance of traditional art and creative industry. We look forward Hong Kong could be developed as a city which blends the old with the new and grows in a progressive manner.’
