Centaline Property & Centaline Club recently enjoyed a Musical in Cantonese Opera style with members in the Xiqu Centre. The story is set in Hong Kong in the 1950s, it’s about a group of actors and actresses coming from Liyuan who struggle for survival in the face of adversity, and how they gain victory ultimately!
It made us think of the positive atmosphere among Hong Kong as the community is moving steadily forward to normalcy nowadays!
The musical is proudly presented by Youth Connect Foundation and Fung Cheung Hung Troupe. In mid-2021, the musical had been performed in one go with a total of 25 performances, breaking the record of most number of performance in the Xiqu Centre. This year, the show is again warmly welcomed by the members!
