HKDance 24/25 season opens with the large-scale dance poem 𝘈𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘚𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭, inspired by the famous letters to his friends by Wang Xizhi, the Sage of Calligraphy. Dancers who have been trained in martial arts for seven years will lift the brush and ink sticks and use the art of dance to trace the calligraphy. Featuring internationally acclaimed violinist Ms Yao Jue, together with rising Hong Kong new media artist Mr Chris Cheung, this performance will weave a grand dance work to captivate and inspire our audience.
