Q:
Who is eligible to join the Club as a Gold member?
A:

Any person who had sold/ purchased/ leased/ rented residential or commercial property (except car park) in any country through *Centaline Group, can apply for the Gold membership of Centaline Club.

 

*Centaline Group refers to Centaline Property Agency Limited (including Centaline Commercial), Centaline(Macau) Property Agency Limited and Centaline Immigration Consultants (HK) Limited.

Q:
Who is eligible to join the Club as a Sliver member?
A:

Applicants must be 18 years old or above.

Q:
Where can I get the application form?
A:

Application forms are available on centalineclub.com for downloading. Or you can get a form from branches of Centaline Group.

Q:
Does having a property transaction through Centaline Group automatically make someone a Gold member of the Club?
A:

No. They must apply for Centaline Club’s membership/upgrade of membership through a nominator, such nominator must be a staff of Centaline Group who is a holder of Estate agent’s licence/Salesperson’s licence(Hong Kong) or Licença de agente imobiliário/Licença de mediador imobiliário (Macau). Centaline Property Agency Limited has absolute right to reject any membership application.

Q:
If someone has rented/leased property through Centaline Group, is he/she eligible to become a Gold member?
A:

Yes. Property owners, confirmors, people who signed Preliminary/ Formal Tenancy agreement can apply for Gold Membership. 

Q:
Is the transaction that was made many years ago valid for applying Gold membership? 
A:

Yes. It is counted. 

Q:
Is someone eligible to apply for Gold membership if his/her transaction through Centaline Group involves an overseas property?
A:

Yes, there is no limitation on property’s location.

Q:
If the related property is jointly owned by two or more people, or the related transaction was proceeded with a confirmor, who can apply for the Gold membership?
A:

Property owners, confirmors, people who signed Preliminary/ Formal tenancy agreement can apply for Gold membership. If there is nomination or change of purchaser/ tenant during the transaction (not including confirmor transactions), only the person/company that finally completes the property transaction can apply for Gold membership.  

Q:
If the transaction was proceeded with company name, can the application of Gold membership be proceeded with company name as well?
A:

If the transaction was proceeded with company name, only 3 directors could be nominated to be the Gold members from each company (They must be the directors of the respective company at the time of signing Preliminary Agreement for Sale and Purchase/ Formal Sale and Purchase Agreement or Tenancy Agreement and their identities of directors must be registered legally according to the company law).

Q:
Will there be an automatic membership upgrade after a Silver member has made a property transaction through Centaline Group?
A:

Silver member should apply for an upgrade to Gold member through a nominator once he/she sells/purchases/leases or rents residential or commercial property through Centaline Group.

Q:
Is the membership application limited to Hong Kong Citizen?
A:

No. Centaline Club accepts application from any person who is 18 years old or above, without limitation on nationality.

Q:
Is there any charge for applying the membership?
A:

No. The membership is free of charge.

Q:
What should I do if I change my address and/or telephone number?
A:

Members wish to have access to, correct any information relating to them which is inaccurate, please email to centalineclubmember@centamail.com or write to 10/F., Wharf T&T Centre, Harbour City, No. 7 Canton Road, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon (Please mark “Centaline Club” on the envelope).
